# The Survival Challenge

As the Apostles' experiment on BYOCraft TRYP absorption progresses, each lap amplifies the negative impact of this absorption on your craft's durability. The longer you race, the more your BYOCraft endures the ravages of rawTRYP absorption and the quicker its durability depletes. 

Upgraded durability translates to longer survival time, more chances for a fastest lap achievement, and increased earning potential by the race end.
